IT Change Manager

My client is looking to recruit an experience IT Change Manager on a contract basis of 6+ Months to co-ordinate and manage the implementation of the changes to the live services (as approved by the CAB). The successful Change Manager will be responsible for ensuring proper Risk Assessment, Impact Assessment and Test Plans are performed. They will also be required to identify bottlenecks and possible inefficiencies in delivering IT Operations.

The Successful IT Change Manager will have the following responsibilities:

* Change review & approval

* Chasing outstanding approvals and change closures

* Over-riding change approvals

* Handling change queries & rejections

* Emergency change review and handling

* Changes during freeze and advisory periods

* Creating / maintaining standard change templates

* Monitoring usage of standard change templates

* Maintaining change calendar

* Generating significant change periods email

* Change communication

* Post Implementation Reviews

* Reviewing change calendar in comparison to availability analysis

* Handling conflicts

* Publishing documents following service transition

* Re-scheduling of changes

* Dealing with organisational specific notifications such as Exam and CAA

* Dealing with changes implemented prior to approval

The successful IT Change Manager will also be required to perform the following reporting tasks:

* Generating monthly Ops report

* Analysis of monthly Ops report - meeting team leads and KPI owners and reviewing breaches

* Distribution of monthly Ops report

* Presenting monthly Ops report to IT Exec

* Recording actions arising from monthly Ops report

* Maintaining / amending monthly Ops report
