SC Cleared Release Manager - INSIDE IR35

An SC cleared Release Manager is required for a 12 month initial contract. This role requires working on site in Winchester 5 days per week and is inside IR35 so you must be able to work via and FCSA accredited umbrella company

Essential Skills and experience:

1.Create a product release roadmap at the feature level

a.Work with Test Manager, Programme Managers, Product Owner and RTE to source and coordinate information to get an accurate view of which features are being released

b.Based on point (a) understand which components are being developed and the interdependencies

c.Ensure that all dependencies are coordinated for code versions to work together in all environments, SIT, UAT, MO, PPE and Prod

2.Create release notes on all releases including micro release notes for daily releases explaining the features, the components being raised

3.To communicate the release plans and ensure teams and Senior Leadership are aware of what is being planned for release by workstream based on point 1(a)

4.To communicate any changes in the release schedule

5.To ensure that all environments have been smoke tested and are ready to have code deployed

6.To ensure that all stakeholders are ready to consume and work on the code released into the various environments

7.If releases versions are not coordinated and teams are not synchronised, then to stop releases into environments. To be the first line of defence to ensure consumers of the solution in the various environments have what they need to do their job

8.To escalate people not following the process. For this there is a need to develop the overall approach for release management and how people need to conform.
