The Data Migration Analyst will work within a team that is responsible for the data cleansing and migration of data from the existing ERP system to an Oracle Fusion target solution.

Key Deliverables:

To be a key member of the data migration delivery stream on the programme, ensuring that the development and operation of all data migration scripts and any necessary transformation are carried out in a compliant and end-user focused manner.

Key Activities:

Be able to convert descriptive business data objects into SQL code to produce extract scripts that pull out the correct data to define that business data object

Produce detailed field to field mapping documents to select the right data from the existing source system to fulfil data load templates

Ensure that all data extracted from the source system is handled in a secure manner, using the defined processes and tools available

Be responsible for :

The extract of data from various existing systems in formats such as SQL, Excel or Text

Test the data correctness and completeness

Cleanse data where necessary and agreed by data owners

Report progress regularly to stakeholders.

Prepare import templates for loading into the new system

Key tools and experience

Experience of working on data migration programmes with Oracle Fusion as the target, using standard Oracle toolsets

Experience of extracting data from Oracle EBS and/or Workday would be advantageous

Experienced in the use of data manipulation tools such as SQL and Talend would be advantageous

Experience of working with and understanding of HR and payroll data
