Our client is an International IT Service Provider who requires an SC cleared Technical Data Architect to support the architectural output on an on-going programme with one of their key customers.

DURATION: 3 MONTHS

RATE: £650 (INSIDE IR35)

It's a SAAS application, existing on prem is being decommissioned, out of support for last 2 years. The main effort for this is agreeing the approach to bringing the new system into production use.

All production data requires cleansing and migrating to sync the platforms. Review Technical requirements (solution has already been decided, so need to document the new platform to meet Architecture principles) Create all relevant diagrams and supporting documentation for the platform using iServer. To support the project team taking the platform through the technical design forum. To Support the project through the procurement process if a single vendor solution agreement cannot be reached. Create a solution design document including details for the applicable elements below.

Update internal EA solution (iServer) with all the relevant documentation and create diagrams to compliment the SDD as required by the architecture team (in line with TOGAF 9.1). Provide a technical plan for the migration of data into the new solution once approach on its end use case is agreed with the business. Build a migration process and any required tooling to facilitate the import of the data into the new platform from 2 different sources using the e5Z native functionality of E2. Create an audit trail to demonstrate changes to imported data. Assist the BA with understanding how the SAAS solution can be used by 2 different business units with different data sets and differing use cases. Guide on optimal use of the platform and technology. Provide technical guidance and contribute to project planning through the Discovery, Alpha and Beta Phases
