One of our clients are looking for an experienced Product Support Manager to join them on a contract basis.

SC clearance required

Inside IR35

Until the end of March 23 with the choice to extend after potentially as far as June 2025

Based 2 days per week at Bristol, rest remote

Role Description

This is a role for an IPS (Integrated Product Support) specialist. They will be part of a team developing innovative support options for the programme which is in the Concept phase and transitioning to the Acquisition phase.

We are looking for an individual who will challenge the normal delivery processes and seek to be innovative. Awareness of PAS280 would be an advantage.

Key Activities

*Delivering and progressing tasks, identifying opportunities and monitoring progress

*Leading internal and external stakeholder workshops.

*Independently managing tasks and opportunities.

*Combining various techniques and methodologies to develop support solution options, which could be applied in the context providing a best value for money support solution.

*Attend relevant weekly client team meetings to receive any updates with regards to IPS activities

Knowledge

*IPS practitioner level knowledge & experience

*Civil/military aircraft experience

*Understanding of Def Stan 00-600 and associated standards

*Awareness of PAS280

Skills

*IPS Practitioner

*Good MS Office skills and report writing skills

Experience

*A sound understanding of the principles of IPS

*An good understanding of the SSE, experience of implementing the SSE and SSO engagement

*A background in aviation civil and /or military

*Experience in a complex platform in the Concept and/or Acquisition stage of the procurement cycle

Responsibilities

*Acting as an integral part of the AURORA IPS team delivering to the client

*Attending meetings, workshops and producing reports as required
