One of our clients are looking for an experienced Project Manager with extensive training experience particularly within the cyber/defence area on a temporary contract basis.

Mostly remote with 2 days per week at Corsham

Role Description:

Lead development and delivery of work across two workstreams, namely: TaaS Managed Service (Responsive Training) and TaaS Design (DCC M). Role will also require leading the project team on a day to day basis.

1.TaaS Managed Service - Responsive Training. Involves:

Identifying and understanding user needs - gathering, documenting and validating new or updated defensive cyber training requirements from Dev and DevOps meetings, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), user groups and vendors.

2.Developing, creating and distributing DCC training content, including e-learning solutions.

3.TaaS Design - DCC(M). This involved the development of client prioritised work around a technical deployed instance of defensive cyber technology.

This role will be 75% related to training and 25% leading the project team.

Key Activities:

*Defining and prioritising tasks, setting objectives and monitoring progress. Record progress on Teams Task Tracker to facilitate this process and adapt team management approach to facilitate collaborative behaviours in the context of Covid-19.

*Leading internal and external stakeholder workshops.

*Independently managing risks and opportunities.

*Combining various techniques and methodologies to deliver effective training solutions, which could be applied in the context of remote working.

*Attend relevant weekly client team meetings to receive any updates with regards to cyber applications.

Knowledge

-Project Management (Pref Agile aware)

-Reporting

-Basic Process Modelling

-Basic understanding of training (but not deep expertise)

-Familiarity with JSP822 if preferable

Responsibilities

-Acting as the primary interface for the TaaS team into the cleint

-Managing the team including resourcing and deployment

-Assisting the prime client of commercial activity

-Attending meetings, workshops and producing reports as required
