Network Design Engineer - Outside IR35.

Working on the NSoIT(D) platform. Responsibilities include:

*The design, development, building and validation of all networking components which form part of the NSoIT(D) Platform.

*Production and review of all levels of design artefacts.

*Supporting wider NSoIT(D) system testing activities.

*Working with Service Management to resolve issues.

Working with some of the latest COTS products, Server 2012 R2, Windows 10, VMware, to produce a rapidly deployable IT system for the MoD.

Helping to Develop scripts to fully automate the installation and configuration of components which form part of the NSoIT platform

Qualifications include:

At least one of the following professional certifications that have been obtained within the last five years:

oNetworking certification - at least CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or similar.

oVirtualisation certification - VMware VCP-NV (VMware vCenter Certified Professional - Network Virtualisation)

Candidates must be hands on engineers with strong network design experience for large secure networked infrastructures, particularly Military systems.
