£40 per hour negotiable

Based in Didcot

My client is currently looking for a Linux System Administrator to join them on a contract basis. This will be on site full time.

Key Skills:

*Provide technical expertise of Linux (particularly Red Hat) systems administration; accepting and processing day-to-day tasks via the Help Desk and involvement with more in-depth investigations

*Knowledge of configuration management processes (we use cfengine) advantageous

*Fault diagnosis in installed computer systems and networks

*Providing operational support and analysis of installed computer systems and networks

*Installation of computer workstations, rackmount servers and associated components

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
