My client is looking for a Phase 2 plan to report lead for an initial 12 month contract with the potential to extend.

The role leads the Plan to Report tower for Phase 2 which is the Core UK aspect of our global Finance and Procurement transformation programme. The second phase of the programme is to introduce S4 Subledger information and replace BT's Contract reporting capability. The role holder will manage a small team focussed on the uplift of our earlier reporting deliveries (Phase 1) to take into account the addition of the UK subledger information in our Core UK systems, to deliver standardised contract accounting and reporting capabilities and to work on the project planning elements of the phase.

The role will work with a small team of reporting Subject Matter Experts from data, the BT business and technology, with a focus on standardisation for reporting in BT's finance transformation. The role holder will work as part of and lead a multidisciplinary core team (process, data, org design, systems, change and communications) which is implementing a simplified and standardised landscape across a Group Finance function.

The role is important because the core UK subledgers introduce Asset, Purchasing and WBS information which can enrich our existing BW reporting and improve analytics and drive efficiencies in BTs processes and reporting across the BT group. This transformation includes the implementation and enhancement of an SAP/Hana platform, including BPC and BW.

The scope of the role is to manage the team responsible for project planning, contract accounting and subledger data reporting into management reporting to meet our critical business needs, in line with the overall Core UK delivery plans.

Alongside the regular tools of running a programme team such as, progress meetings, stand-ups, logs, RAID, forecasts, reporting, resources and measures/KPIs, you will have critical engagements with the BT business stakeholders to deliver a standardised reporting approach underpinned by our systems, data and processes in a complex environment.

Prior experience in SAP BW reporting and S/4 data and analytics with a strong accounting data experience is a must.

You will lead a small team focussed on reporting and will need to develop business partnerships with our programme team and shared services team and SMEs in the business to ensure delivery is the priority as well as driving standardisation where possible. Whilst this is a management role you will also be expected to take a hands-on approach to manage deliverables.

You'll need to be able to think ahead, pre-empt requirements for key meetings, and drive the preparation for these.

The successful candidate will:

*Understand BW reporting and S4 processes, be able to understand what reporting is critical to be enriched by subledger data.

*Work with the programme to define our critical requirements to uplift reports, and to deliver in the new BT toolsets.

*Work with third party organisations to deliver the new solution itself and with the BT business and programme to ensure the requirements designed built and tested are aligned to BT expectations.

*Be able to manage a network of senior stakeholders' requirements.

*Drive for completeness in a complex area of BT.

Skills required for the job:

You need to have strong reporting, delivery, communication, and organisational skills:

*Experience in reporting standardisation.

*Experience of working in a multinational business supporting finance toolsets with a business lens.

*Able to problem solve and bring people together on complex problems.

*Validate requirement criticality.

*Able to promote and deliver transformation and standardisation in complex environments.

*Qualified accountant or management accountant.

Desirable but not essential:

*Project management experience.

Experience you would be expected to have:

MANDATORY

*Reporting lead experience in a large complex/multinational organisation.

*Ability to form options for data and reporting design.

*SAP/S4 experience.

*Org design experience.
