Our Client is urgently looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer,

Contract inside the scope of IR35

Active SC clearance is required.

About the role:

A UX/UI designer is required to join a new agile DevOps team working to build a new digital service which will enable citizens to make Barring referrals using a web based application. The designer will lead on making sure the product adheres to Government Digital Service standards and puts the user experience at the heart of the solution.

Key activities / skills

*Apply design thinking techniques, creating user personas, user journeys and site maps to explore user needs

*Build storyboards to conceptualize designs and convey project plans to clients and management

*Design a frictionless user experience, drawing upon GDS & DBS standards and assets, including producing wireframes or similar assets to guide the development team as required

*Evidence based design and able to identify the simplest approach to meet the user need

*Ability to apply a digital understanding to your work, including identify and implement solutions for assisted digital if required.

*Work collaboratively with other designers, development teams, business analysts, engineers and project managers

*Experience working in an agile environment
