SC Network/Build Engineer (Inside IR35)

Job Description:

A Network Tooling Build Engineer is required to build and support the LECN Infrastructure. This role holder will be required to review relevant design artefacts and define the approach required to build elements of the solution as required. The role holder will then be required to build the solution, automating where possible, and create the associated documentation and supporting artefacts.

Experience of working in infrastructure provisioning is essential

Skills:

* Solid understanding of the development lifecycle.

* Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.

* Demonstrable experience provisioning, deploying and maintaining network monitoring, performance and configuration tools from a variety of industry vendors.

* Experience authoring professional documentation (build guides, configuration sets, work instructions etc.)

* Experience with Linux and Windows administration (RHEL and Server 2016)

* Automation experience in provisioning applications and updates.

* Experience of building and testing network tooling in a virtualised environment.

* Experience of working on a clamped infrastructure.

* Experience of 4th line support

Daily rate £350/£380 inside IR35 (experience dependent)

Clearance level: SC Clearance

Locations: Stevenage for the first 6 weeks, then travel to Bracknell and Basingstoke and remote work thereafter.
