Service Asset and Configuration Manager
6 Months Initially
Remote Working with 1 day onsite
Inside of IR35
We have an excellent opportunity to work with a highly regarded defence client who is looking for a Service Asset and Configuration Manager who has SC Clearance.
The role is predominately based offsite with remote working, but will require 1 day a week onsite in Corsham, Wiltshire. The initial contract is for 6 months and is Inside of IR35.
We are looking for someone with experience of;
- Auditing existing baselines
- Creating new baselines for existing hardware, software and documentation
- Managing the definition of new configuration items
- Providing regular/periodic metric reporting
- Developing processes and procedures to support SACM activity
- Experience in the BMC remedy asset management module ?
- Experience in the BMC remedy asset management module
- Desirable to have experience with System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Experience in DML Management
- Experience within an ITIL v3 based Service management environment
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Reacts to highlight and resolve potential instances of unauthorised assets, such as unlicensed software
- Management of the CMDB
- Engage with Release and deployment management and Change Management in support of releases and deployments.
