My telecomms client is looking for a project manager for an initial 3- 6 month contract with the potential to extend.

This role is inside of IR35

Key Skills, Characteristics & Experience

-Excellent Customer liaison skills, having the ability to talk at different levels, translating complex technical speak into a more straightforward language

-An engineering background to enable an understanding how engineers work, and the ability to communicate with them at their level

-A knowledge of databases, which underpins HMI solutions

-Experience of Contact Centre delivery & telephony, especially in the platform space

-Personal resilience and the ability to handle high stress situations for potentially sustained periods

General

-Able to work autonomously

-Be able to build people networks & relationships internally in BT in order to get things done

-Be inspiring to get people onside and working together

-Able to communicate clearly and be straightforward

-Able to manage competing demands on time and juggle without dropping balls

-A strong leader, assertive, able to take ownership and make decisions

-Kudos - able to speak with authority and confidence

-HMI Team good guys, relationship

-Willing to be accountable, push things through, own the problem

Day to Day Role

-Contributing to impact assessments of Customer requests/requirements to help shape commercial propositions

-Managing delivery from kick-off to project closure

-Knowledge of the project lifecycle and associated best practice

-Understanding and application of core project management processes and techniques

-Team management across multiple projects in parallel

-Weekly internal and external reporting against several criteria

-Day to day management of resources from different disciplines - technical, test, HMI

-Liaison cross discipline
