Role: SC Cleared Research Officer

Location: Remote / Newport

Duration: 6 Months

Hourly Rate: £17.50

Outside IR35

This is a challenging new role, that provides an excellent opportunity to deliver changes that will have a real impact on the UK's evidence-base on travel and tourism.

The Research Officer will play a key role in supporting the SRO lead on the data requirements aspect of the review work which will include all user engagement related to these statistics. The RO will need to engage with users inside and outside of the client and help to develop a set of recommendations they can take forward.

Essential Skills:

*Experience of building effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.

*Ability to evaluate the appropriateness of a data source.

*Ability to deliver a task to a short time line

Desirable but not essential skills:

*Experience in statistical analysis.

*Experience of statistical output production

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
