Under the direction of Operations Centre Service Line Chief, the incumbent will perform duties such as the following:

*The planning, implementation and management of assigned projects and in accordance with the appropriate regulations and project management policies and procedures;

*Development of procurement strategy, benefit risk analyses, business case to secure sponsor acceptance and funding;

*Execute the necessary Quality Assurance functions essential to the successful delivery of capability and services;

*Deliver projects within defined Time, Cost and Quality tolerances;

*Participate in other project management related activities;- Undertake relevant technical support activities;

*Performs other duties as may be required.

Skills and Experience

*A Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline, such as, Engineering or Applied Science and 2 years post- related experience;

*Recent experience in the successful Project Management of major C4ISR acquisition and/or development projects for a large organization;

*A recognised formal Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE 2/ PMP. The lack of formal qualifications can be compensated by the demonstration of expertise and experience in the domain;

*Experience in planning, design, system engineering and implementation of communication aspects of C4ISR systems;

*Knowledge of configuration management concepts, system life cycle management and quality management.

*Proven ability to work well in a team in his/her field of activity;

*Proven ability to communicate effectively orally, using tact and diplomacy, and in writing with good briefing skills.

Desirable Experience and Education:

*Proven success as a project team manager/leader in C4ISR acquisition projects;

*ITIL Foundation Level Certification;

*Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements;

*Technical leadership experience;

*Project Management automation tools (MS-Enterprise Project Management);
