My client is recruiting for a Tester to join their team in Luxembourg on a long term contract. Knowledge of French language is essential.

Nature of tasks:

* Application testing

* Test cases/scenarios definition

* Test plan definition

* Software inspection and quality control

Knowledge, skills and experience:

Testing skills:

* Review and contribute to test plans

* Understand the software development life cycle (i.e. V model)

* Understand the level and type of tests

* Analyse, review, and assess requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, specifications (i.e., the test basis)

* Identify and document test conditions, and capture traceability between test cases, test conditions, and the test basis

* Design and implement test cases and test procedures

* Prepare and acquire test data

* Create the detailed test execution schedule

* Execute tests, evaluate the results, and document deviations from expected results

* Use appropriate tools to facilitate the test process

* Automate tests as needed (may be supported by a developer or a test automation expert)

Soft skills:

* Analytical skills

* Attention to details

* Ability to work in a team as well as an individual

* Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines

* Great interpersonal and communication skill
