My client is recruiting for a Systems Engineer to join their team in Mechelen, Belgium. They are looking for someone to start ASAP. Fluency in Dutch is required for this position

Job description

Working as a System Expert Engineer is an opportunity to be the driving force of technological projects in a Windows environment. Your dynamic character ensures that you can always follow technological developments in a fast-moving market.

You are responsible for the following tasks:

* You understand IT windows infrastructures at both system and network level and formulate clear answers.

* You come up with technical solutions for complex customer questions / services.

* You are the technical Third level within the company

* You are responsible for the further development, renewal & automation of products on the Windows environment.

* You are responsible for the internal distribution of knowledge through presentations, training, etc. to engineers, presales, etc.

You have strong interest & knowledge in the following technologies:

* Azure, Office365, backup (VEEAM), VMware

* Powershell has no secrets

* Citrix knowledge is a plus (installation + management)

* Firewall knowledge (Sophos)

Do you find yourself in this?

* You have in-depth knowledge of different Windows Server OS's and you have the knowledge to standardise / baseline them

* You have a perfect command of Dutch - a good knowledge of French and / or English is a plus

* You are structured, persistent and administratively very strong

* A well-finished file gives you an energy boost!

* You are solution-oriented and aim for results

* Technical analysis and out-of-the-box thinking complete your job

* You have a flexible attitude and you also have no problems joining the on-call duty with the rest of your colleagues after a good knowledge transfer.
