Cyber Security Consultant - DV Cleared

Location: Central London

Duration: 12 months

Cyber Joint User's mission is to mainstream Cyber, supporting the Chief of Defence Intelligence as Defence Authority for Cyber, and, through the MOD Cyber Programme, deliver cyber capability as part of MOD's capability plan.

The post is technology-focused and will develop and manage the roadmap for Cyber Risk Tooling for Defence and will lead delivery against that plan. This post will aim to continuously improve the capability, responding to user need and meeting the needs of developing a knowledge base for MODCyP investment decision making.

Key Tasks:

The post will undertake the following tasks:

*Analysis of a wide variety of data sets, to build understanding of Defence's cyber risk exposure.

*Develop and communicate the strategy for Cyber Risk Tooling, working with identified and regularly reviewed stakeholders.

*Develop the roadmap for delivery against the Cyber Risk Tooling strategy.

*Stand-up and oversee capability delivery projects as per the Cyber Risk Tooling roadmap, securing funding as needed.

*Develop and implement the long-term model for sustainable user training.

*Communicate delivery progress and plans to stakeholders, understand what support will be needed from them and secure their buy-in.

*Elicit feedback from the user community to develop user requirements.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
