Rate: £400-£500 per day

Length: 4 Months

My Manchester based client is looking for a Systems Adminstrator DBA to join them for a period fo 4 months with the following skill set.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide technical support of large PeopleSoft installations on Oracle/Linux, at least PT8.55/Applications 9.2, ideally PT857PUM12

- Managing relationships with users, senior staff and external suppliers keeping all parties updated at all times about the service status, issues, delivery, etc.

- Leading or supporting the delivery of projects including strategic projects such as the Student Experience Programme.

- Use of appropriate tools to automate routine tasks, e.g. shell scripting/cron, task scheduler, Puppet, DPKs, ACM).

- Setup and administration of Oracle Databases through use of RMAN clones, refreshes, restores, Dataguard &c.)
