Data Center Engineer

Working with 2 senior engineers, this role is to provide support to the existing team members.

Checking backup logs and monitoring tools to ensure that the task have completed successfully and to offer escalation and fixes to the items that haven't.

*SCOM monitoring and management pack maintenance.

*Solarwinds monitoring

*Symantec BackupExec 15 / Veritas BackupExec 20.* / NetBackup and Veeam experience.

*Backup storage technologies (Dell DR appliances, HP StoreOnce utilising OST, VTL etc)

*Windows Server 2003 or higher

*Analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyse, interpret and resolve issues.

*IT Security and data protection
