ERP Senior Project Manager

Role responsibilities include;

* Develop a detailed project plan that details the tasks and outcomes expected from third parties, Ordnance Survey project team, and the key dependencies for achieving the plan

* Own and execute the ERP deployment plan in line with the programme interdependencies to the agreed costs and timeframes

* Be a subject matter expert throughout the procurement of the systems integrator to ensure the most suitable partner is selected for successful project delivery

* Assist OS team in writing the Procurement tender documents and reviewing relevant contracts for the services required for this project

* Business requirements are validated and fully understood by the systems integration partner

* Business change is fully assessed, a business change management plan is created, and carried out to enable a smooth transition

* Training needs are fully understood and planned, including post implementation support

* Interdependencies, risks and issues throughout the project are recognised and impacts incorporated into the project plan and wider programme

* Assist the organisation to model the appropriate team to see the project through end to end, and the operational team needed to support the project post go-live

* Provide advice to ensure the most cost-effective implementation plan is created and delivered

* Ensure a thorough testing plan is created and delivered

* Support the business to identify the most cost-effective licensing agreement for our defined needs

* Define the expected benefits we should achieve on implementing the system and KPI's to confirm their achievement

* Report to the appropriate Ordnance Survey programme and project governance boards

* Ensure RAIDs are kept up to date and escalated to relevant stakeholders throughout the life of the project
