My Telecoms client has a requirement for an infrastructure Support consultant to help them for an initial 3 month contract with the potential to extend.

There is an office in Sheffield that could be utilised but other than that this role can be worked remotely from home.

This role will involve assisting in the work they do to define and publish their infrastructure services.

This is not a highly technical role but does require basic understanding of data centre services, as it is a co-ordination, tracking, and publishing role.

Subject matter experts will create materials to define the services the client offer; but they need to be kept on track to deliver those in line with development projects.

What they produce will need to be checked to see that it's reasonably complete (but not technically correct) and then published online with hyperlinks and so on created to link everything together.

You would be working with technical people and project managers to ensure that they get the right materials to improve the way that the client work. You will be setting up meetings and making sure what is published is in line with other systems and materials. For example, to check that online service ordering systems are developed in line with the services we publish.

Key Skills and experience

Office 365, Sharepoint/online publication, Skype.

Strong English skills and ability to tie together multiple related documents into a coherent whole.

Basic understanding of data centre services, such as virtual machines, databases, firewalls, IP networking.
