My client who is based in Chippenham is looking for an IP Services Engineer to be based on an initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend.

The post holder will be responsible for the configuration and installation of Juniper routers to facilities customer LAN operations and suitable configuration for normal Operations and intercustomer links.

5 Key Skills

Must have knowledge of JUNOS operations and configurations ?

Must know the following protocols BGP, OSPF and MPLS ?

Must possess knowledge of firewall operations with router in flow mode ?

Must know how to configure router during normal running times without dropping the service ?

Must have some knowledge of defect diagnosis when dealing with router issues

Due to the nature of this work candidates with a live DV clearance are strongly encouraged to apply for this role.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
