Cloud Architect

London based

3 Months initially, extendable

£400 - £500 per day (DOE)

***Outside IR35***

We have an excellent opportunity with a progressive, dynamic organisation. We are looking for a Cloud Architect to join the team on a great programme of work.

To be suitable for this Cloud Security Architect requirement, the following skills and experience are required:

* Experience in a similar level of role. Ideally as a Solutions or Cloud Architect in a large and complex business.

* Considerable experience with architecting and designing solutions for Azure and related technologies.

* Solution architecture experience with cloud platforms - SaaS, IaaS or PaaS.

* Experience incorporating security controls.

* Exposure to service design and development.

Key Skills & Experience:

In depth understanding of Microsoft Azure PaaS and IaaS, specifically:

* App Services, Azure SQL Database, SQL Server IaaS implementation, Availability sets, Azure Networking concepts (Vnet, Azure VPN, WAF, NSG, Peering & User Defined Routes (UDR), Express Route, DNS, Load Balancing, Storage.

* Understanding about the challenges and considerations to be catered for while migrating applications from on premise to Azure. Define solution architecture which meet HA, DR, Availability, RPO & RTO requirements of the application.

* Azure Cli scripting or PowerShell scripting or ARM template.

Cloud integration experience within Azure PaaS/IaaS:

* Architecture experience within an infrastructure capacity e.g. storage, network, private cloud, tools.

* Passion for the benefits of technology in enterprise, will autonomously implement innovate processes into their solutions.

* Proven successful experience modernising infrastructure with Azure cloud architecture.

* IT security and design patterns for cloud architectures.
