SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER / NETWORK DESIGNER - SC CLEARED

-A proven track record for delivering several large-scale IT projects, in which you were responsible for designing and implementing highly available and resilient networking solutions including active-active failover.

-Rationalising network designs & their alignment against architecture best practice.

-Demonstrable experiencing of working with Enterprise Systems, Platforms and Networks within a datacentre environment.

-Working as part of an Agile development team.

At least 3 years demonstrable experience within key disciplines such as design, de-risking and development within the last 5 years

*Hierarchical IP Subnetting;

*In-depth understanding of routing protocols, internal and external, OSPF, and BGP.

*Advanced knowledge of routers, switches and firewalls;

*Detailed knowledge of core network technologies and infrastructure:

oCisco Nexus;

oCisco IOS XE;

oLeaf and Spine network architecture;

oVXLAN Overlay networks;

oDual Cloud Dual Hub DMVPN Solutions;

oLayer 3 Multicast / PIM;

oFirewall IPS/IDS;

oAAA Management Platform e.g. ISE;

oVXLAN

*TRL Crypto

oConfiguration of devices and management of keymat

*Detailed understanding of all aspects of QOS (Traffic Shaping / Policing / Scheduling / Congestion Management and Avoidance).
