SC/DV Cleared Office 365 SME

£400-£457 per day

My Government Client require four O365 third line engineers due to the increasing footprint of O365 environments, to strengthen and develop their resource pool in that field.

The SME's will be required to provide third line level technical support / problem investigation of any o365 issues within the organisation's or their customer's environments. The SME's will maintain multiple O365 environments and be expected to suggest improvements to the environments to ensure they comply with current published best practices.

The role will involve day-to-day delivery of support services in accordance with SLAs, resolving incidents/problems which have been escalated from within the GSC Service Desk. The specialist will be required to file a comprehensive record of actions taken and solutions found. The specialist will be integrated with the IAAS cloud team to provide high quality performance to our customers and end-users

Essential:

Technical Background:

*In depth experience of management and monitoring of Office 365 services and hybrid infrastructure.

*Deep knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and it's interaction with Active Directory

*Considerable knowledge of managing Office 365 and other related cloud solutions

*Experience with the migration of large volumes of data into the cloud platform.

*Maintenance of a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring.

*Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with user access to cloud services.

*Ability to create advanced PowerShell scripts to schedule repeatable Office 365 actions

*Knowledge of Office 365 Teams/Groups/Delve/Power BI.

*Supporting Skype for Business and troubleshooting call quality issues.

*Experience managing directory sync into Azure AD.

*Supporting the sync and sharing of large volumes of data with OneDrive.

*Advanced skills managing Office 365 using PowerShell

*Experience with Azure AD user management both for Office 365 and third-party services.

*Exporting usage and licensing information through Office 365 reporting.

*Understanding of firewall requirements needed for all Office 365 functions.

*Deep understanding of supporting Office desktop applications.

*Support of Office 365 mobile applications.

*Advanced knowledge of migrating data and services between Office 365 tenants

Desirable:

*Knowledge of IT Service Management toolsets i.e. Service Now

*Experience of working within an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL v3) support environment.

*Assist with the creation of policies around the proper use of Office 365 services and support.

Operating Infrastructure:

*Windows

*VM Ware

*Citrix

*Experience of Service Desk toolsets

*Foundation certificate in ITIL Service Management

3+ years of experience with Exchange (on premise/online) administration.

2+ years of Office 365 (over 1000 users) administration experience.

2+ years of Microsoft Windows Server administration experience.

Office 365 or any other Microsoft certifications a plus.

2+ years of experience with Office 365 migration tools.

Experienced and well versed in all Microsoft environments.
