SC/DV Cleared Network Build Engineer

Outside of IR35

£320-£340 per day

East Kilbride

My Government Client require a Network Build Engineer to work within the Programme's Deployment team. The Deployment team is the 'nerve centre' that builds and delivers the IT service across Government.

This role will include carrying out new builds of Network devices and peripherals to quality standards and procedures, and investigating and resolving common technical issues. This is a varied and demanding role for an intelligent and enthusiastic person who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.

Specialist skills and experience:

*Experience of configuring Network devices (LAN and WAN)

*Experience of configuring Secure Network Cabinets, Routers, Switches, Firewall

*Experience of configuring IP Crypto Devices would be a distinct advantage

*Experience of hardware and peripherals installation and related troubleshooting

*Experience of the ITIL Service Management framework

*Experience of an IT Service Management (ITSM) tool

*Exposure working within Government

*Previous experience of a Network infrastructure roll outs would be a distinct advantage

*Juniper (Junos OS)

*Red Hat Enterprise technologies

*vSphere/EXSi 6

*F5

*Palo Alto

*Cisco
