Project Summary

The objective of this task is to successfully assist with/facilitate the migration of the applications hosted on the Foundation Application Hosting Environment (FAHE) to the new hosting environment.

Team Composite

3 technical specialists ("Transition Team") to support and facilitate the transition and migration of applications hosted on the existing Application Hosting Environment across to the new application hosting environment.

* The team will be required to understand the Hosting Environment & new Hosting service offerings at a detailed level.

* Assist the customer to understand their application hosting requirements.

* Assist the app owner to understand the process and responsibilities of migrating an application on secure hosting solutions.

* Assist the customer with the migration of their application between Hosting environment & the new hosting environment.

* Assist the app owner to understand the process and responsibilities of accreditation and compliance to JSP 604.

* Assist the application owners to achieve for Compliance & pass other required testing if required.

Essential skills and experience:

1. Must have a technical background, ideally within application migration and integrations, including extensive experience of application hosting environments (including public/private/community datacentres) and technical architecture thereof.

2. Defence/Security experience across Base/Fixed systems working to Defence ICT policies, including JSP 604.

3. Experience of managing stakeholder engagement in terms of requirements and setting expectations including excellent oral and written communications with senior stakeholders at all levels.

4. Experience of working with and collaborating across Technical and Project work streams to drive results.
