SC/DV Cleared Head of Professional Services Centre

Reporting to the Business Services Director, the Interim Head of PSC has strategic and cost centre responsibility for the management of 120+ multi-discipline professional resources to deliver some 600 projects per annum globally for both the UK Government and Friendly Foreign Governments. The total project value is expected to be in excess of £100m with anticipated revenue of £50m in 2018/19. The PSC's key offer is teams based on advisory, design, construction, regional delivery and supplier management, the provision of advisory advice, design, surveying, project construction management, supplier management and asset management.

The role holder will be responsible for delivering key corporate KPI's for resource utilisation (productivity) and staff engagement whilst driving cultural transformation and improvement to deliver a motivated, high quality and high performing pool of Professional Resources.

Essential:

*Experience of a leading a Multi-disciplined construction professional team

*Membership of either the RIBA, RICS, IET, CIBSE, ICE or other professional Construction body

*Significant experience in the Construction industry

*Excellent Leadership and Management skills

*Significant experience of strategy development, implementation, business planning, budgeting and forecasting

*Strong Interpersonal skills

*Experience of Project/Programme Management

*Prior experience of resource management, development and allocation processes

*Understanding of different resourcing methods including experience of supplier negotiation

*Clear and influential communicator

*Excellent relationship building skills

*Experience of delivering change in a similar environment

Desirable:

*In depth understanding of the skill sets in PSC

*Membership of the Institute of Management or other relevant professional body and/or relevant qualification
