Technojobs was established in 1999 and specialises in the IT, telecoms, engineering and electronics industries. As a specialist jobboard we aim to provide only the vacancies that are relevant to your requirements.
Our relaunch in January 2006, sees many more features to ensure that finding a job is as easy as possible.
We've included specialist technology, tag scoring, that ensures the right jobs reach the right candidates, saving you the unnecessary hassle and time of sifting through unwanted vacancies.
You can also now manage your job hunting online, using stored CVs and covering letters, and saved job search terms.
Our job search system uses a complex scoring mechanism to deliver you more accurate jobs. The recruiter can assign tags to a job such as the name of skills required which then ensures a higher listing when you search for that word (but there are mechanisms in place to ensure that this feature isn't used to incorrectly list positions).
Furthermore our system will actually learn what positions you like/dislike. If a position appears that you are really not interested in, then by clicking "Not Interested" and giving a single keyword reason not only will you never see that job again, the system will automatically start to hide other similar jobs.
When you sign up as a registered candidate of Technojobs, your default CV will automatically be indexed for recruiters to be able to find you using the same system, so you should enter tags for your skills when applying.
Although we'd like you to keep visiting our site every day, we understand that you lead a busy life and may prefer to be kept abreast by having new jobs delivered to you.
You can either set up our system to send you new additions to your saved searches by a daily email or you can subscribe to an RSS feed of your search using your favourite feed reader (such as SharpReader for Windows, NetNewsWire for Mac OS X, Liferea for Linux or Bloglines on the web).
If you are unsure if a listed vacancy is right for you, you can also 'ask a question' which publicly gathers responses from the recruiters and lists the replies online. You could also keep the replies private if you prefer.
With our 'Quick Apply' feature, Technojobs also allows you to store variations of your CV and covering letter online to apply instantly to roles of interest, but still tailor your applications to different vacancies.
We have also listened to your feedback and now equip recruiters with an online admin system to enable fast and easy acknowledgement of your applications.
