Network Engineer (Infrastructure TCP BGP OSPF IPSec) Established start-up technology company is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their growing infrastructure team. The role will suit a proactive and open minded individual who is looking to work with a range of technologies on a number of different projects; each day will bring exciting new opportunities and challenges to work on.

As a Network Engineer you will join a small team of passionate developers and consultants, being responsible for designing and developing the company's core network infrastructure for a cutting edge digital identity app. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Network Engineer to develop their experience by getting involved in a number of projects whilst still having an active part in the day to day tasks required of a Network Engineer. The key responsibilities of this role include; developing the monitoring and logging systems required for a new network, and helping with the daily maintenance of the current network, whilst being in regular contact with both the network and systems architects and external datacentres.

Requirements:

*Must have previous Network Engineering experience

*In depth knowledge of TCP, BGP, and OSPF

*Strong layer 2 networking experience

*Knowledge of IPSec

*An excellent communicator who is able to both participate and actively listen to others

*Must have a strong work ethic and proactive attitude

*Ideally be certified (CCNP, CCNA or JUNOS)

*Desirable: SNMP, IDS, and DDOS experience
