Transformation Programme Manager Coventry

My client based in the Centre of Coventry is looking to hire a Transformation Programme Manager to join their team and aid in the set up a new team! You will have the opportunity to establish and manage a Programme of Transformational Projects, including the creation and agreement of Business Cases for each Project with the Authority and oversight of each Project's execution.

The Transformation Manager will be having the following responsibilities:

*Creation of Business Cases that support the funding of Transformation Projects, including scoping, planning and cost estimation.

*Development of a robust project plan and associated project management documentation deliverables during the initiation of new Transformation Projects

*Management of multi-functional matrix-managed Project teams, including 3rd party Suppliers, in the delivery of the Project plan

*Manage the project within a Customer defined Project Lifecycle (based on PRINCE2)

*Managing the Transition into Service for each Transformation Project, delivering into the Service Delivery Manager

*Chair the appropriate Transformation Programme governance meetings

To be success in this role you should have the following skills:

*Experience of project delivery in all aspects of Lifecycle Management for the introduction of outsourcing or managed support services

*ICT Transformation experience and Service Management Transition experience

*Strong Project Management experience and be able to provide examples of collaborative working and evidence of building effective relationships with customers and suppliers

*Demonstrable experience and capability to manage projects autonomously

*Experience of managing, direct or matrix, project managers, technical resources and other resources assigned to an ICT programme

*Experience in managing deliverables via 3rd party vendors in a high profile and technically innovative enterprise solution

*Experience in the management of projects to budgetary constraints and where effective change control has been incorporated

*Project Management qualification (PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent)

*Knowledge of ITIL service management framework principles

In return for your skills my client is offering generous salary between £70000 and £90000 as well as an excellent benefits package which includes but is not limited to 34 days annual, flexible working. Healthcare, on site parking and up to 14 per cent pension!
