An exciting new opportunity for a Senior Defence Teacher Trainer has arisen with a leading support services organisation based in Portsmouth. This position of Defence Trainer is responsible for the delivery of high quality education and training support, promoting a culture of training improvement to increase the quality of training delivered to Defence personnel by role modelling modern learning techniques and methods.

* Deliver teacher training and assessment programme incorporating the QCF Level 3 Award in Education and Training, Care of Trainees (safeguarding and prevent) and the Defence Training Supervisor course (trainer assessment and development).

* Deliver an education and training Continuing Professional Development programme to defence trainers (both military and civilian)

* Support the delivery of a Coaching and Mentoring service including the undertaking of coaching and mentoring support to facilitate staff and trainee development

Qualifications & Requirements

* QCF Level 4 Teaching Qualification - Essential

* QCF Level 3 Coaching and/or Mentoring - Desirable

* Evidence of a self sustained record of own Continual Professsional Development

* Defence Training Course - Desirable

* Assessor Qualification - Desirable
