Cost / Project Controls Consultant

£40,000-£60,000 + Benefits
Cost / Project Controls Consultant required for a private defence consultancy company based in Bristol offering an excellent package and interesting work. This role will be primarily focused around developing technical solutions to business issues.
As Cost / Project Controls Consultant, you will be responsible for cost analysis / estimation, have a working knowledge of MOD approvals (IGBC, MGBC, JSP507, JSP655 etc), and come from a background in Defence or Operational Analysis. You will also be expected to engage in operational analysis and support business cases and policy development.
The ideal Cost / Project Controls Consultant will have experience working with DE&S, ISS or Dstl and must have an excellent telephone and professional manager when dealing with potential customers. You will also have portfolio, programme/project management experience dealing with schedule and risk analysis, benefits realisation, evidence management etc.

* British national with current SC or DV clearance
* Must be good with people and able to interface directly with customers
* Project/Programme management experience
