My client are a market leader within the metal casting industry looking for an experienced ERP manager who can fill a skills gap that has been identified between the technical IT staff and the users within the business. The focus of the role is to utilise new investment by enhancing their current ERP solution through analysis and continuous improvement. A longer term objective is to recruit, train and grow an internal team dedicated to system improvement!

As part of a larger group that brings together manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and logistics organisations my client is part of a complex and intricate organisation. Having recently opted for a new industry aligned ERP system in order to improve efficiencies between IT and operations they see it as essential to invest in a team who can be dedicated to ensuring the system is tailored and fine tuned to meet business needs.

It is a challenging role that will require not only strong system customisation skills but a fantastic functional skillset to be able to understand business processes, the impact of company wide growth on business work flows and how solutions will be miplemented into the current system. The IT department are fully on board with managing business change and the business as a whole are embracing this period of rapid change.

The following experience is essential;

* Exemplary background in ERP system management

* Strong functional exposure to modular ERP solutions

* Demonstrable knowledge of SQL and reporting tools such as Crystal, Jet or SSRS

* ERP system customisation projects experience, hands on and as project lead

* Manufacturing industry knowledge

* Exceptional communication and project management skills
