My rapidly expanding Cambridge based client in the Semiconductor sector has an excellent opportunity available for an experience Embedded C++ Software Engineer. We are looking to hear from candidates who can help design, develop and improve the embedded software for our clients evolving range of network display ASICs. We'd expect you to be an experienced and creative engineer with knowledge of developing embedded software for System on Chip (SoC) products. Your experience will demonstrate an ability to write assembler and C++ programs targeted at embedded systems, primarily 32-bit processors and you should also have strong skills in prototyping, debugging and hardware bring-up.
In addition any experience of Video interfacing (e.g. HDMI, Display Port), or Communication protocols - e.g. USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi (802.11g/n/ac) would be highly beneficial.
