Software Architect Coventry

My client based in Coventry is looking to hire a Software Architect to join their team based in the centre of Coventry! This is a newly created role and will see you working closely with the project and service delivery management teams.

In this role you will be:

*Providing analysis of both New and Existing systems and you and the team will be assessing the architecture, technologies, security and platforms.

*Responsible for the implementation and design of new applications.

*Working with a variety of languages though you will be working primarily in a .net environment together with Cloud based technologies.

This is a hands on role so you will be expected to write code and have a strong awareness of development processes and practices. You should also have experience of line management, and managing high performance technical teams such as mentoring, performance management, resource an capability planning.

To be successful in this role you should have experience in :

*Creating and successfully delivering enterprise level software solutions based on the Microsoft development stack (C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Visual Studio, SQL Server) and SharePoint

*Client-side development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular

*Design, creation and consumption of web services (WCF, RESTful, WebAPI)

*Knowledge of geospatial systems and coding

*Experience of working in Agile teams on customer premises

*Experience of acting as a technical lead where you are responsible for the technical, and in some aspects, functional design of the system

*Track record working with collaboration and software life cycle tool sets (e.g. JIRA, VSTS, GIT)

*producing both high and low level design specifications
