Overview:

This company is a Microsoft Silver Partner who provide transformative services for their customers focused on Microsoft Cloud for Office 365, Mobile Device Management, Operations Management and Azure. They work with their customers to enact change, achieve outcomes by getting the most out of the technology and building enduring relationships.

They are recruiting for a Microsoft Cloud Technical Engineer, with suitable Microsoft Technology experience of at least 4 years, Microsoft partner experience desirable.

The role will be a mixture of working from the their Basingstoke head office and client sites (Southern England).

Objectives:

- Delivery of Microsoft 365 cloud services (Office 365, EMS) with skills and experience to support Design and Implementation of the services

- Delivery of Microsoft Azure with skills and experience to support Design and Implementation of the services

- Works closely with the Senior Leadership Team regarding best practices, and service offerings

- Raise their profile through community activities, seminars, social media activity, and industry events

Essential Technical skills & Experience:

- Management of Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Azure AD

- Azure Infrastructure Management and Implementation

- Core Networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills

- Exchange (online and on premise including hybrid configuration)

- Office 365 migration skills - specifically the design, plan and execution of mailbox migrations to Exchange Online.

- Attention to detail / comprehensive documentation and ownership of execution within defined timeline

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Full UK Driving License

Additional skills:

- PowerShell scripting knowledge for Exchange, Azure and Office 365

- Microsoft Skype for Business (Lync) skills on premise/cloud and voice (desirable).

- Windows 10 rollout and management

- SCCM and MDT operating system management

- Knowledge and experience with Networking and Firewall Technologies such as; Kemp, Citrix Netscaler and Juniper would be desirable

- Provide pre-sales support and proposal writing

- Enterprise Mobility and Security implementation.

- Ability to prioritise work under pressure, work without supervision and use initiative to ensure that deadlines are met

- A flexible approach to the working day

- Good awareness of wide-range Microsoft Server technologies

- Microsoft Certification
