Database Automation Engineer, North West, Salary dependant on experience

A leading organisation based in the North West have a need for an experienced Database Automation Engineer to join their team. You will join the Infrastructure Services team and will play a key role in ensuring this company complete their mission to become an automated bank.

This company have ambitious plans that will help them separate them from their competition and as such they require a self-starter with the ambition of being the best to match their own.

You will be provided with the opportunity to work in one of the country's leading technology centre, work with the latest current edge technology and have a huge chance of career progression in a range of different of paths.

What the role with entail;

* Investigating and understanding the manual processes the DB support and control teams follow to report them in a repeatable and extensible way

* Create a holistic and common framework for automation

* Learn and work on new skills to help wider teammates

What the candidate needs;

* Skillset for Unix and Windows platforms to deliver automation

* Knowledge of Python and PowerShell

* Exposure to solution delivery

* Ability to work in quick changing and dynamic teams

* Good knowledge of data platforms (Oracle, SQL, MongoDB)

* Experience with C# and ASP.NET would be a bonus

* Experience with AWS would also be a bonus
