We are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Solution Architect for a leading client based in Berkshire. This is an initial 6 month contract role with a view to extend on a rolling basis. The role will be covering a variety of IT workstreams with the purpose of the solution architect role to work with the partner solution architects and manage the scope of projects and programmes.

Role Profile -

Supports the development of and assures the quality of solution options.

Attends Governance forums to review and approved solution options.

Reviews and approves design deliverables (F.S., T.S., CTM, LTM, PTM, FAD)

Ensure a quality solution design by maximising common solutions, common off the shelf solutions and enterprise architecture.

The Solution Architect will work with BRM, Enterprise Architecture, Partner Solution Architects and solution vendors to ensure the integrity of the solutions and that they meet the business requirements.

This role will be part of the matrix resource pool of Solutions Architects and the solution architect may move between projects and technology solutions to meet with project work load.

Required -

* Experience in applying solution architecture tools and techniques

* Experience in developing solution architectures, design assurance and governance

* Experience in managing RTMs and bespoke development lists (e.g. RICEFW object list)

* Experience with working in working in an on and off-shore based model

* Experience of project and programme delivery, with responsibility of scope management.

* Good written and verbal communications skills

* Good stakeholder management and influencing skills at colleagues, partners / vendors & project sponsors.
