Contract: 6 months - high chance of extension

Key Skills: Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, Agile, any front end technologies would be advantageous

Project Details: An excellent company and long-standing client of ours based in Wakefield are currently looking for a Java Developer to join their office initially on a 6 month contract with a high chance of extension.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Java Developer to join a constantly adapting company who are at the beginning of what is set to be a very exciting year. The key requirements they are looking for will be extensive experience in Java, Spring, Hibernate and experience of working in an Agile environment.

In addition to the standard responsibilities involved in these roles the successful Java Developer will be working with 3rd party suppliers as well as defining methodologies and standards for the software so any experience in negotiating or interpreting business requirements would stand you in great stead.

The qualities they will be looking for and considered as desirable will be experience in any of the following - Apache Camel - Jenkins - AWS - Ansible - Docker - Micro services. As well as any experience working with front end development tools such as CSS3, JavaScript, JSP or HTML5.
