Database Administrator / DBA (NoSQL Cassandra Linux SQL Server)

Location: London, City

Rate: £500 to £550 p/day

Term: 6 months

Start: Immediate / ASAP

Database Administrator / NoSQL DBA sought by global financial software house with in excess of 2,000 institutional clients for a six month contract at their City office. They have a SQL Server and Cassandra database environment, the Cassandra environment has just gone live. As a Database Administrator / NoSQL DBA you will focus on verifying data quality, data feeds, data issues and any outstanding development work on the Cassandra database, taking ownership and producing documentation.

City based offices with a friendly and informal atmosphere.

Requirements:

*Must have NoSQL database administration experience, ideally Cassandra

*Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2014 - 2016

*Strong Linux OS knowledge

*Experience analysing database performance and query optimisation

*Excellent communication skills
