Android Developer - Manchester - 12 month contract - Mobile Developer - Up to £400

One of my top clients, a leading company right in the middle of Manchester walkable from the train stations, are looking for an Android Developer / Mobile developer to work as part of their development team on a number of native mobile applications.

The company have a strong mobile development function but need good Android development experience to bolster the team, on a long term contract for a couple of major projects.

Some of the key things they're looking for:

* Native Android development experience

* Good Java / OO development experience

* Work to solid architecture ideally with TDD / BDD experience

* Ideally some experience / exposure to Retrofit, OkHttp, Gson, Dagger, RxJava, AutoValue, Espresso or Kotlin - not essential but good to have

The role is a long term position with plenty of chance of extension further as the company is expanding their projects team massively.

They are interviewing over the next couple of weeks, and are looking for the right fit so can wait if you are finishing up a contract role.

For the right Android developer they are ideally looking to pay between £350 and £400/day depending on experiences.

If this role is of interest to you, please get in touch with myself, Tom Nevill, at Real IT, for immediate consideration.
