We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join an aggressively expanding start-up business, a company which has used innovative to help achieve a leading market share within its sector. You will be a senior escalation point to a team of three engineers, helping take the lead of Greenfield projects.

Leading this team will not take you away from your technical duties, especially with this role being technically hands on.

Technology involved with this role will include; Cloud Infrastructure (AWS and Microsoft Azure), Windows/IIS, Linux/Apache Environments, Tomcat, MySQL, VMware, Docker, Chef, Puppet & Cisco Firewalls.

You will be managing enterprise platforms for their customers, helping implement and manage infrastructure strategy for the whole product suite as well as the internal company network.

Your daily responsibilities;

Being responsible for overseeing external and cloud infrastructure (AWS and MS Azure) as well as enterprise deployments for Windows/IIS and Linux/Apache environments.

Your excellent interpersonal skills will be utilised when communicating with your peers, in order to create new builds or environments as well as configuring new tech. You will also maintain and expand automated provisioning and deployment processes using Chef.

If you are a strong communicator who can demonstrate initiative when working as part of (or even leading) a team, then you may be the candidate that we have been looking for.

The following skills are required. However, the company will not expect you to have outstanding experience within each category, and will help to provide daily support in areas of;

* AWS & MS Azure experience, accompanied with VMWare and Docker will be a bonus!

* Chef/Puppet Knowledge.

* Knowledge of Cisco ASA Firewalls.

* Windows, Linux, Apache, Tomcat and MySQL experience.

Working in the London HQ you will report to the company's leading architect, as well as working for a hands on management team.
