Are you a Rail Systems Engineer looking for a varied role where you will play an integral part in the success of an already industry leading company that is part of a Global organisation?

This a good opportunity to get into the industry with a highly regarded company. The typical projects will include the on board railway systems, signalling & infrastructure, safety critical electronics and complete measuring and control solutions.

This company is part of a larger global group that is continuing to grow through both organic growth and acquisition but making sure each company keeps its own identity. The main purpose of the role is to assist with the Design and implementation of Project Specific Systems that meet the customer specifications. You will work with in house design specialists and external design teams to deliver projects including delivering all necessary documentation.

This is a diverse role in which you will manage each project from creation through to completion. This role would suit an experienced Systems Engineer from a Rail/Automotive/Aerospace industry looking to get into lucrative rail company.

The Role:

- Design and implementation of project specific systems that meet the customers' specifications

- Project Management of all technical aspects of customer projects, leading internal activities and acting as the customers' technical contact

- Assist in product development activities and tendering activities

- Responsible for the On Time in full delivery and On-Budget delivery of all project milestones

The Person:

- Systems Project engineering experience in Rail highly desirable but not essential - Automotive and Aerospace transferable

- Sound understanding of the system design process (including System and Sub-System Specification, System Test, Integration and Certification)

- HNC in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
