Mechanical Design Engineer (3D Inventor)

London (Commutable from Peckham, Westminster, Stratford, Bromley, Croydon, Kingston upon Thames, Soho, Woolwich, Stoke Newington)

£20-£25 per hour - LTD or Umbrella Company

8 week contract

Monday - Friday - 35 hours per week

Immediately available contract role

Are you a mechanical design engineer with experience using Autodesk Inventor with concept design experience? Are you looking for your next immediately available, days based role in a leading technical workshop in one of the UK's most prestigious universities?

Due to expansion my client is in need of a Mechanical Design Engineer to assist in one of their many leading research and design workshops.

The successful candidate will have at least three years' post grad mechanical design experience with strong 3D background using Inventor. You should be confident in your ability to translate customer requirements into a fully functional and robust prototype.

This role would suit Mechanical Design Engineer who can take a project from concept to completion. In this would you will be required to make a motorised step that will be used within the University's Sports Therapy department.

The role:

*Design a motorised step

*Liaising with technicians in multiple departments

*Creating technical drawings using Inventor

The person:

*Experienced with Autodesk inventor

*3D modelling experience

*Knowledge of methods, materials and relevant mechanics
