Java Developer

Location: Oxford

Duration: 6 months initial

Day Rate: £500-£575

Java Developer - We are actively seeking a number of strong Java Developers to join a multi-award winning Global Publishing Company located in Oxford for an initial 6 months. As the Java Developer you will have diverse responsibilities including hands on development, component and system design, code reviews and process improvement. The Java Developer will need to be up to date with the evolution of the Java language.

As the Java Developer you will need to be a strong developer, using current frameworks and build tools. The Java Developers will need SQL experience (Oracle or any major DBMS) as well as experience with Unit testing frameworks experience. This is an excellent opportunities for the successful Java Developers to join a global company using the most up to date technology.

Key Skills for the Java Developers:

* Solid experience as a Java Developer and stayed current with the evolution of the Java language.

* Experience working with AWS/Cloud

* BDD/TDD.

* Unit testing frameworks - Junit, Mockito.

* Front-end experience- JavaScript, jQuery, React, Angular or Node.

* Excellent communication skills are vital.
