Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer - VMware , Server

My client, a leading managed service provider is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to work in a fast paced IT Infrastructure department, where you will assist in supporting business critical IT systems and implement new Infrastructure projects across the company. As the Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer you will provide 3rd and 4th line support for business critical application, you will also have a strong understanding of back-office infrastructure.

The key responsibilities are as follows:-

*Provide 3rd and 4th line support of Physical and Virtual Windows Servers.

*Managing a mixture of physical, virtual/cloud and hybrid datacentre environments, along with experience of managing BR environment and managing failover DR environments.

*Actively contribute to continuous application and process improvement through product and documentation review, process refinement and systems configuration and implementation.

* Ongoing maintenance of standards and processes relating to Systems Engineering Services.

*Support and Implementation of new technologies, solutions and services, in line with current industry standards and business strategy.

The successful Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer will possess the following skills and experiences:-

*VMWare / Hyper-V

*Windows Server 2008 - 2016

*Veeam Back Technologies

*Exchange 2010 - 2016

*Active Directory

*ITIL framework of Incident, Problem, Change and Release management.
