Finance System Data Migration Consultant (Great Plains)

An organisation in east London is looking to take on a Data Migration Engineer to work on their Finance System project following a recent merger. They are the process of rationalising back office functions are implementing ABS Open Accounts from the beginning of May. The group currently uses Open Accounts, Great Plains and Dream at its three sites and Quickbooks for its subsidiaries. We are looking for support with data migration from Great Plains, Dream and Quickbooks into a new implementation of Open Accounts.

The role will consist of extracting data from Great Plains, Dream and Quickbooks, transform, cleanse and populate data migration templates provided by ABS, maintaining an audit trail. They will also need to document the processes for the live migration run at the beginning of May.

Keys skills experience:

* Finance system experience - ideally Great Plains and/or Dream

* Data Migration experience - to & from Finance systems

* Data cleansing, transformation, documentation etc.

They would also benefit from some advice on holding and accessing legacy system data after the have gone live but this is not an essential requirement.
