Electronic Trading Quant C# C++ or Java Dev Skills - Investment Banking

Quant required with development skills in C++ C# or Java to work on development of core libraries for multi asset class electronic trading platform.

Key skills Required:

- Top academic background in mathematics/physics/computer science from a leading academic institution - MSc or PhD or equivalent

- Outstanding implementation skills in an object orientated programming language (backed up by significant programming experience in an industrial context working on large projects)

- Active interest in design of system architecture

- Strong quantitative programming skills

- Excellent problem solving / debugging skills

- Good understanding of concurrent application design

- Experience of Java, C# or C++ are an advantage

Quantitative Experience essential, with financial product knowledge and ideally automatic trading experience.

Key Responsibilities

                                                                       - Close interaction with asset aligned quantitative research teams in understanding their requirements from the core electronic trading platform and also in assisting them in the investigation of issues (e.g. performance)

                                                                       - Work with management to determine cost estimates and priorities for projects

                                                                       - Design and code implementation of core electronic trading platform components in either C++ C# or Java

                                                                       - Development of robust and reliable testing strategies

                                                                       - Interaction with IT teams upstream/downstream in the chain (e.g. data sources, trade APIs)
